Inspection and testing of the electrical generator set shall be carried out in accordance with the approved Project Quality Plan and shall comply with the requirements of this specification, the data sheets and other referenced documentation forming part of the Purchase Order.

The Purchaser or his Nominated Consultant reserves the right to carry out its own inspection at the Manufacturer’s works. The Supplier shall provide free access to his works, and to that of his Sub-Suppliers, for both the Purchaser and his authorized representative(s). All necessary certification documents relating to materials, shop test data, etc., shall be made available to verify that the requirements of the Purchase Order are being met.

The responsibility for inspection rests with the Supplier. The approval of any work by the Purchaser, or their authorized representative, and the release of equipment for shipment shall in no way relieve the Supplier of any responsibility for carrying out the provisions of this specification.
