About the Scholarship:

Every year Mälardalen University offers a limited number of scholarships under the Mälardalen University Scholarship Programme to international students from selected countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland, who are applying for a Master’s programme as their first choice on Sweden’s national admissions portal.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who wish to be considered for the scholarship must first apply for an eligible Masters programme at Mälardalen University on www.universityadmissions.se, with Mälardalen University as their first choice university. In addition the application fee must have been paid on time.

The scholarship is for especially qualified students coming from countries outside of EU/EEA/Switzerland and who are required to pay tuition fees. However, the scholarship is not open for students from the 12 countries with which Sweden has long-term development cooperation, namely, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Students from these countries should instead apply for the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship.

Application Guidelines:

Scholarship applicants must first apply for a master’s programme at Mälardalen University via the website www.universityadmissions.se. You must fill out the Scholarship form and submit the application together with your other documents to University Admissions Sweden before 1 February YEARLY.
